Get Involved

In general our volunteers do not need special skills as they work with professionals and experienced members of the team. The only requirements are the desire to work hard, have fun, and be willing to let us borrow your skills, time and expertise.

Work hard

The rewards are greater than you can imagine, and so is the workload, especially with our international programs. While you’re on site probably thousands of miles away from home, you are working 10+ hours a day, everyday, side by side with the local people. You will be building both the physical structure that is needed and a set of new skills & friendships. Our local projects also provide great work opportunities. Some do require you to be on your feet for most of the day but others (like knitting) absolutely require you sit in a comfortable chair and chat with friends.

Easy work

Of course another way to get involved is to donate. Perhaps you want to sponsor rowing for those who might not otherwise have an opportunity to experience the teamwork and community of this sport. Or maybe you want to purchase a water retention tank for our overseas work in honor Aunt Betty.  Whatever resonates with you, we thank you for your support.

See for yourself

Take some time and browse through any of the completed projects or new or upcoming projects or flick through the photo gallery and see for yourself the wonderful time our volunteers have when helping out others - you will wonder why you haven't done this before.
