Farewell Emmanuel
Today we bid a very sad farewell to our wonderful friend, Emmanuel Liphapang. Emmanuel was killed in a car accident when an oncoming truck lost control, crossed the centerline and hit the school's van head on, killing Emmanuel instantly and throwing Mosiuoa (many know him as John) into the windshield causing numerous head injuries. Very thankfully, John is expected to recover fully.
Emmanuel was more than a Math teacher at Holy Names High School. He was more than an invaluable contributor to our projects. He was a dear friend, a hard worker, a person full of joy who made everybody around him smile - all the time. As one volunteer put it, "If we truly believe that we should leave this world a better place than when we entered, he certainly has shown the rest of us a good path to follow."
His departure leaves an enormous hole in so many hearts. Memories of his vibrant smile, his silly dancing, his fun-loving heart, and the true caring he always gave will help to fill that hole.
Peace to you Emmanuel. You are loved and perfect.
