Our cadre of NW Harvest volunteers had a great time at the Kent Distribution Center this afternoon.  We left the NW Harvest staff shaking their heads at the speed of our work.  Our session was to last until 3pm, but we closed up shop at 2:40 as there was no more frozen corn to be packed.  It was fast and fun, and many of us wanted more.

Congrats to all the volunteers, who helped pack nearly 5.5 tons of corn in just 90 minutes.  This much corn provides over 3,000 family servings all across Washington state.
